ALL ABOUT ME



This term, 2nd and 3rd graders have learnt how to introduce theirselves: their names, ages, living places, likes and dislikes and favourite things. They created their own lapbook named "ALL ABOUT ME" in which they add all this information. Then, they explained it to their classmates. You can see their introductions in the following videos, we hope you enjoy them!

CRISTMAS CAROLS FOR OUR ELDERS

Last Monday we visited some elder people who are in a nursery home and we brought them Christmas postcards and we sang Christmas carols to wish them Happy Holidays. It was a very nice experience!





TRAVELLING SHOES

The name of our project is "In Your Shoes" so one of the activities we prepared is a pair of travelling shoes for each international group where the students from each country are going to write words related to eTwinning, and then we will send them to another school. When the travelling shoes get to the starting point, we will collect all the words and write a collaborative poem with them.



INVENTION

After we interviewed Valentí, a blind person, we did a collaborative activity in which 6th graders had to make up a tool that could help improve a blind person's life. They had to do this with the international mates. They wrote the description together and then they tried to draw a picture of it.


INTERVIEW

Our eTwinning project talks about empathy and being in someone's shoes. What a better experience than to interview a person whose life changed forever after a hunting accident that left him blind. 6th graders had the chance to ask him all the questions they wanted and they are going to write an ebook with the answers to share it with our international partners. We loved the activity!


ADVENT CALENDAR

Christmas is coming! And to make it more interesting, 6th graders have prepared videos with Christmas carols, riddles, traditions and lots of different things to explain to our international partners how we celebrate the holidays. They have done the same and we will discover it every day through a collaborative Advent calendar.


ACROSTIC POEM

Last month 6th graders started a new eTwinning activity: write a collaborative acrostic poem. First, they chose a word related to empathy, they voted the one they liked the most, and with each letter, each international team wrote a sentence. We'll make a poem ebook with the results.

Aladdin play C2


Last Thursday, 2nd and 3rd graders watched an English Play named “Aladdin”. We had so much fun dancing, singing and even getting on stage! Here you can see some photos and videos of the experience. We hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed the play!

IN YOUR SHOES

6th graders carried on a very original activity on eTwinning. They brought shoes from their loved ones (parents, brothers and sisters, friends...) and they put them on. We took a picture and they shared with their international mates how they felt with those shoes on. They loved the experience!

Sixth graders have started a new eTwinning project this school year 2019-20. It is called "In Your Shoes" and we are going to work on empathy.

Our international partners are from Greece, Slovenia, Ukraine and Caldes de Malavella.

We have done an "Escape Room" about empathy and the students solved 4 missions related to this topic. They decoded a secret message, they put together a puzzle with definitions of what empathy is and what it is not, they worked out a battlefield puzzle to find a secret word and they finally solved a riddle. They had lots of fun!





eTWINNING NATIONAL QUALITY LABELS

Last school year we participated in two eTwinning projects ("Life in a castle: the Middle Ages" and "The World Explorers's Club") with the 4th, 5th and 6th graders and we have been rewarded with the National Quality Label in both projects.

PUT ON YOUR SHOES
This year P5 and 1st students learnt about clothes through the song “Put on your shoes” from Super Simple Songs. One of the activities we did was recording our own videoclip of this song. 1st grade students sang the song and P5 performed the videoclip. This is our final product, hope you enjoy!

EASTER FAIR

This week was the Cultural Week. The 6th graders prepared an Easter Fair full of entertaining and funny games for the other students at school. They had to explain the games in English and they did a great job. Enjoy the pictures!

P4 - THE EASTER BUNNIES



P4 students represented The Easter Bunnies short play to learn about the Easter tradition through the topic we are learning: parts of the face. They did a really good job and had so much fun!

WHO IS WHO?

Last Monday and Tuesday 4th5th graders had a video conference with their Italian and French partners. We had the chance to play the game "Who is Who?" with Medieval characters. We had a great time!


1st Graders asking and answering questions: "Do you like...?"






After learning the structure "Do you like...?" through the song "Do you like broccoli ice-cream?" from Super Simple Songs, 1st graders practice this structure applying vocabulary we learned about Food. They did a great job!

CREATING AN eBOOK
