Hello C2!

As usual, we have been working hard, and of course, having fun! The last few months we have

been travelling around the Solar System, we have been in an Easter Egg Hunt, and now we are

working on Jobs.

However, we have something important to tell you, something that makes English even easier!

Did you know that a 40% of the words in English are very similar to Catalan and Spanish?

Yeeeees! If you don’t believe us, look at these words:

Music, Class, Director, Animal, Artist, Alarm, Dinosaur, Different, Galaxy, Astronaut.

Are these Catalan, Spanish or English words? If you understand them, then you can speak English!

Aladdin play C2

Last Thursday, 2nd and 3rd graders watched an English Play named “Aladdin”. We had so much fun dancing, singing and even getting on stage! Here you can see some photos and videos of the experience. We hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed the play!

School camp rocks!

We're going to a school camp next week! We recorded this video to show everyone what we need to take with us. Watch the video and prepare your backpack. Let's go!




 

In second and third grade we've been learning about food. We played 'Find someone who...'. Everybody was participating and speaking in English.

Easter Scape Room

In second and third grade we celebrated Easter and Spring time playing a fun Scape Room. We received a letter from the Easter Bunny: he had a surprise for us inside a misterious box we found in the English classroom. The box was completely locked and we had to discover the password. We opened the box and... SURPRISE! SOME DELICIOUS CHOCOLATE EGGS WERE WAITING FOR US!

READING RACE

In groups, we read some sentences about transports and we matched them with the correct picture. We worked together to beat the other team. It's been an exciting reading race!
