HABITATS FOR OUR CRAZY ANIMALS

 In 4th grade we participate in an Etwinning project called THE EARTH CONSCIOUS GANG. It's about animals in danger of extinction in Europe. We are working in International teams and we are going to find the way to save these animals. 

One of the activities was to create an imaginary animal with the collaboration of all the members of each team. Once we had the animal, we needed a habitat for it to live. And this is what we did: designing a habitat. How are these places going to be? We'll describe them very soon. 

THE MYSTERIOUS OBJECT!

After listening to the Radio Programme recorded by the school teachers, we played the game 'THE MYSTERIOUS OBJECT'. Students asked questions to guess an object. Every time they answered one question correctly, they received a piece of a puzzle. The object was hidden in the jigsaw. That was fun! Have a look at the Paddlet where we played the game:

Last school year we participated in two eTwinning projects ("Life in a castle: the Middle Ages" and "The World Explorers's Club") with the 4th, 5th and 6th graders and we have been rewarded with the National Quality Label in both projects.

Last Monday and Tuesday 4th5th graders had a video conference with their Italian and French partners. We had the chance to play the game "Who is Who?" with Medieval characters. We had a great time!

CREATING AN eBOOK

After researching about the Middles Ages, it was time to create an ebook with our international partners. We wrote the information we found and we put some pictures to illustrate it. Great job!

ARE YOU READY FOR A SONG?

In fourth and fifth grade we are talking about people who are special for us. We are learning the song You can count on me by Bruno Mars. We are going to sing it next Friday on Radio Annexa. You can listen to it and practice it at home.

MIDDLE AGES RESEARCH

4th5th graders finished their research about the Middle Ages. They shared it with their international partners on a collaborative document. They learnt a lot of new facts!!

A SONG FOR OUR ETWINNING FRIENDS

We had a great time writing postcards for our Portuguese, Croatian and Catalan Etwinning friends. They found a surprise inside! Scan the QR codes and you'll listen to a fantastic song.

Videoconference time!

We've been doing some videoconferences with our partners from Portugal, Croatia and Sant Esteve de Guialbes. We played the game Who is who. That was fun!
We also prepared some questions about our country to ask them and they prepared some others to ask us. We had to look for the correct answers.

Last week we started writing in the Forum on Twinspace our ideas to create a collaborative logo with our international teams. We had a great time!

Christmas cards to Italy and France

4t5èA and 4t5èB have made beaufitul Christmas cards to send to our friends in Italy and France. We hope they like them. Merry Christmas !!!

A SCARY STORY, theatre in English!

This week 4th5th and 6th graders had the chance to see the play "A Scary Story" based on the American author Edgar Allan Poe. We participated in the play and we had a great time!

Videoconferences with Italy and France (4t5èA and 4t5èB)

We met our international friends in a videoconference!! We had a wonderful time asking each other questions about our countries. We got plenty of correct answers and now we can make the puzzles with the pictures of our team members. That was great fun!

WHAT'S GOING ON IN CICLE 3?

In the first term of the school year we've learned a lot! We've learned how to describe ourselves and a friend, how to give directions to get to a place in the city and how to describe the position of an object. Here you have a video with some of the activities.

ETWINNING PROJECTS 4th5th AND 6th GRADES

We have started this school year with two new eTwinning projects.

4th5th graders are working on “Life in a Castle”, a project related to the one the students are doing with their regular teachers. We are sharing this project with a school in France and another in Italy. We will learn how kings, queens, monks, nobles and peasants lived in the Middle Ages.

6ht graders are working on “The World Explorers’ Club”, a project related to the refugees. We are sharing this project with schools from Caldes de Malavella, Italy, Slovenia, Romania and Lebanon. We will learn how difficult it is to start a new life in a different country.

These are some of the videoconferences the 6th graders have done so far with Caldes, Slovenia and Italy. We had to complete the missing words of a letter to get to know what our projects is about.
